We celebrate Holy Communion at Heritage on the first Sunday of the month. Also as a part of partaking in the body of Christ we try to be the body of Christ and do a special ministry project each month on Communion Sunday. In the past we have done things like collected food for a local food pantry, collected household items like toothpaste, toilet paper and shampoo for a local mission. we have also collected money for various missions projects. In the United Methodist Church, we have an open Communion table, which means that it is not the table of Heritage Church, or even the United Methodist Church. It is Christ's table and all are welcome who seek relationship with Jesus Christ, even if that seeking is expressed as "I'm not sure what I believe but I want to learn more." Communion is available to all ages, as Jesus honored the faith of children.
